London producer Model 86’s creative blend of electronic and hip-hop continues to develop beyond any predictable boundaries. First catching our attention with Holdin’, the tracks fusion of sliced samples are a refreshing throwback to hip-hop’s golden era producers like DJ Premier. The elements are cleverly developed and modernized with the hard hitting 808s and electronica synths.

Latest release MONO has pushed the envelope even further with more uniquely placed pitched vocal chops and deep subs. Peaceful laid-back breakdowns between the hallucinatory grooves keep you intrigued to the tracks development as well as the artist as a whole. A collaboration with a top-liner would be truly exciting as with ambitious creative producers of this caliber there are no limits or boundaries.
