Hailing from Whitley Bay in the North East, alternative pop four piece Lisbon are a band we’ve supported in the past and we’re really excited to have them on our showcase at The Great Escape this weekend. They continue to go from strength to strength with their latest track Shark, a catchy and rocky follow up to their previous single Vice.

Shark is a song which reflects on the bands feelings about the music industry and the way they have been caught up in it.  It features the bands brand of bouncy riffs combined with epic vocals and a catchy chorus – its rockier then the bands last offering but still maintains the bands pop sensibilities, so is sure to be another hit with the bands current fans and should win them a few more. It’s sure to make for a great live experience – something Lisbon can always be relied upon to deliver.

The band are currently on a tour which will see them playing venues in cities like Leeds, Edinburgh and Sunderland as well as festival slots at the likes of 110 and above in Leicester and obviously The Great Escape in Brighton.

Lisbon are a live act not to be missed so be sure to check them out on their current tour.
