Today’s tip comes from Newcastle’s indie upstarts Seeing Hands, with their debut offering ‘Treat You Right’.

Lathered with dainty, dreamlike vocals and alluring jangly guitar lines, ‘Treat You Right’ is a track which belies Seeing Hands‘ short lifespan. The single boasts features typical of notable surf-tinged indie bands such as Real Estate and Beach Fossils; an intelligent yet easy-going glimmering pop song with a fuzzy undertone that leaves the listener longing for summertime.

With their first gig on the horizon and talks of festival appearances circulating, it seems like 2016 will see Tyneside’s hazy newcomers flourish.

Seeing Hands play Evolution Emerging Festival on Saturday 28th May.
