Sitting atop of staggered beats and colourful samples, Alxndr London creates a soundscape that sits somewhere between Prince, Jai Paul and Ben Khan. Amongst today’s darker trend of RnB, ‘DATE X’ manages to throw off the shackles and makes a statement in what feels like 16-bit technicolor soul.

With so many things going on in the track, the production still manages to create a lot of space… and it’s in this space that everything shines, including the hushed melodic vocals. If Alxndr London keeps pushing forward and putting out tracks like this, then, as the old cliche goes, the sky is the limit.
