‘With My Mind’ by Lazy Day is one of those songs that has just the right amount of everything going on: the West Coast vibes, the chorus on the guitars and the frequency of the vocal harmonies. If the vocalist (whose name may be Tilly?) was any more laid back she’d fall off her surfboard into the sea of moody guitar she’s cruising on.

It sounds a lot like Honeyblood, but without all the clumsy guitar playing and lack of dynamics and space -so really good. It’s a track where the length of each part is in good proportion to the whole thing, making for a very smooth listen.
