Sinah is an emerging electronic artist from Berlin who is now based in London, and she’s already getting compared to the likes of indie pop starlet Grimes.

‘Just Ok’ is written and produced by Sinah, and opens with a skippy, dub intro with hints of jungle percussion thrown in for good measure.

The lyrical content alludes to doom and gloom, and the sense that things may not improve over time despite what we might hope and wish for.

While comparisons to Grimes may be flying around, Sinah sounds like she will fit in just right with the new wave of R&B artists that are popping off at the moment such as Kelela, FKA Twigs and Throwing Snow.

The track is out now via Noise Praise.

If you get a chance check out the video for ‘Just Ok’ too, which is a suitably moody black and white film.
