The first proper single from No Middle Name, ‘Another Season’ couldn’t have been released at a more perfect time. This lush slice of lo-fi dream pop from the new solo side project of David Bailey of The Title Sequence offers an enchanting, sun kissed backdrop to hazy summer days. This is dream pop at it’s most deliciously dreamy; a soporific soundscape of gentle guitar, soaring synths and looped background samples which seductively coax the listener in whilst Bailey’s serene vocals glide along like a calm breeze, boosted by a dual female vocal which quietly swoons along with every word, adding an ethereal edge.

It’s hard to believe that a song which is so fundamentally simple can be so atmospheric and create such a delicate swell of emotion, yet ‘Another Season’ nails it. Turn it up loud and float away.
